Dent’s Monkey

Cercopithèque est un nom vernaculaire ambigu désignant en français certains singes de la famille des Cercopithecidae. La plupart des cercopithèques appartiennent au genre Cercopithecus. Les genres Allenopithecus, Miopithecus, Erythrocebus et Chlorocebus ont été, par le passé, compris dans le genre Cercopithecus.

Dent's mona monkey (Cercopithecus denti) is an Old World monkey in the family Cercopithecidae found in Central Africa. Debate on whether it constituted a separate species or subspecies continued between zoologists, and it was previously classified as a subspecies of other monkeys by some of them. It was re-classified as a separate species in 2001.

El cercopiteco de Dent (Cercopithecus denti) es una especie de primate catarrino (monos del Viejo Mundo), perteneciente a la familia Cercopithecidae. Se encuentra en la República Democrática del Congo, la República del Congo, Ruanda, oeste de Uganda, y la República Centroafricana. ​ Estaba previamente clasificada como una subespecies de Cercopithecus wolfi.
