Coenonympha glycerion

Le Fadet de la mélique, Iphis ou Semi-Procris (Coenonympha glycerion) est une espèce de lépidoptères (papillons) appartenant à la famille des Nymphalidae, à la sous-famille des Satyrinae et au genre Coenonympha. Dénomination Coenonympha glycerion a été nommé par Moritz Balthasar Borkhausen en 1788. Synonymes : Papilio glycerion Borkhausen, 1788; Papilio iphis Denis et Shiffermüller, 1775; Coenonympha iphis var.

Coenonympha glycerion, the chestnut heath, is a butterfly species belonging to the family Nymphalidae. It is also known as Coenonympha iphis. It can be found in Eastern Europe and east across the Palearctic to Siberia and the Caucasus to North Korea.
