Keeled Box Turtle

Cuora mouhotii ou Tortue-boîte à trois carènes est une espèce de tortues de la famille des Geoemydidae. Répartition Cette espèce de tortue terrestre se rencontre : en Chine dans les provinces du Guangdong, du Guangxi, du Hainan, du Hunan et du Yunnan ; en Inde dans les États d'Arunachal Pradesh, en Assam et au Meghalaya ; en Birmanie ; au Laos ; au Viêt Nam. Sa présence est incertaine en Thaïlande et au Mizoram.

Cuora serrata, originally described as Cuora galbinifrons serrata and later considered a distinct species, are hybrid turtles as shown by genetic studies. These hybrids are bred in the wild (evolution in progress) and were documented for the first time in the wild in 2005, but not in captivity as "novelty" pets as suggested by James Parham and Bryan Stuart, between the keeled box turtle and taxa of the Indochinese box turtle complex. La tortuga de caja carenada (Cuora mouhotii) es una especie de tortuga perteneciente a la familia Geoemydidae. Se encuentra en el sur de China (Hainan, el Guangxi suroccidental y posiblemente el sur de Yunnan), así como en el norte y el centro de Vietnam, Laos, Bután, Bangladés, Birmania y nordeste de la India. Probablemente también se encuentre en Tailandia.
