Marbled Ringlet

Le Moiré striolé (Erebia montana) est un lépidoptère appartenant à la famille des Nymphalidae, à la sous-famille des Satyrinae et au genre Erebia. Dénomination Erebia montana a été nommé par Leonardo De Prunner en 1798. Synonymes Papilio montana de Prunner, 1798 ; Erebia goante ; Erebia homole Fruhstorfer, 1918 ; Papilio goante Esper, 1805.

The marbled ringlet (Erebia montana) is a member of the subfamily Satyrinae of the family Nymphalidae. Distribution and habitat This species is present in Austria, France, Italy, Liechtenstein and Switzerland. These high-mountain butterflies can be found on warm, rocky slopes, woodland clearings and flower-rich grasslands in the Alps from the Ligurian Alps and the French Alps to the Tyrol and the Dolomites, the Apuan Alps and in the northern and middle Apennines, at an elevation of 1,100–2,500 metres (3,600–8,200 ft) above sea level.

La montañesa del Pirineo (Erebia gorgone) es un lepidóptero ropalócero de la familia Nymphalidae. ​ ​ ​ Distribución Endémica de los Pirineos. Se encuentra en el Balneario de Panticosa, puerto de Benasque, puerto de la Picadura, Puerto de La Bonaigua, Montes de Cabriols, Montes del Homme, puerto de Envalira, puerto de Aubisque y Tourmalet, Cauterets y Circo de Gavarnie.
