Eupithecia carpophagata

Les Larentiinae sont une sous-famille de lépidoptères (papillons) de la famille des Geometridae.

Eupithecia carpophagata is a moth in the family Geometridae. It is found in the mountains of Europe, including the eastern Pyrenees, the central and southern part of the Alps, the Massif Central, the central Apennines and the Balkan Peninsula. The wingspan is about 22 mm.

Euphithecia carpophagata es una especie de polilla de la familia Geometridae. La especie fue descrita por primera vez por Otto Staudinger habiendo sido descrita en 1871, con distribución en Europa. El holotipo de la especie fue descrita en España mientras que un sintipo de la especie fue descrita en el Monte Baldo a aproximadamente 1800 a 2000 metros (5905,5 a 6561,7 pies) de altitud.
