Eupithecia egenaria, the pauper pug, is a moth of the family Geometridae. It is known from almost all of Europe, except Portugal, Ireland and the southern part of the Balkan Peninsula. The wingspan is 21–24 mm.

Eupithecia egenaria, llamado también polilla del tilo por el arbusto del que se alimenta, es una especie de polilla de la familia Geometridae. En países de habla inglesa se usa el vernáculo polilla de Fletcher,​ en referencia a Steve Flethcer del museo de historia natural británico. ​ La especie fue descrita por primera vez por Gottlieb August Wilhelm Herrich-Schäffer habiendo sido descrita en 1870, con una amplia distribución en Europa.
