Common Pug

Les Larentiinae sont une sous-famille de lépidoptères (papillons) de la famille des Geometridae.

The common pug (Eupithecia vulgata) is a moth of the family Geometridae. It is a common species across the Palearctic region, including the Near East and North Africa. It ranges from the Atlantic coast of Ireland and Portugal across Europe, the Middle East and Central Asia to the Russian Far East (Priamurje) and Korea.

Eupithecia gaumaria es una especie de polilla de la familia Geometridae. ​ La especie fue descrita por primera vez por William Warren habiendo sido descrita en 1906, con distribución en Brasil. El sintipo de la especie fue descrita en los alrededores de São Paulo.
