White-headed Munia

Le Capucin à tête blanche (Lonchura maja) est une espèce de passereaux de la famille des Estrildidae. Description C'est un petit (10,5 à 11 cm de long) oiseau au corps brun et à la tête blanche. L'œil est foncé, le bec gris et les pattes bleu clair.

The white-headed munia (Lonchura maja) is a small passerine bird belonging to the estrildid finch family. This species is often confused with, and referred to as, the Pale-headed munia (Lonchura pallida) which can be differentiated by tan coloured flanks which are lighter than the brown wings and also by the absence of the black belly. Taxonomy The white-headed munia was formally described in 1766 by the Swedish naturalist Carl Linnaeus in the twelfth edition of his Systema Naturae under the binomial name Loxia maja.

El capuchino cabeciblanco (Lonchura maja)​ es una especie de ave paseriforme de la familia Estrildidae que vive en el sudeste asiático. Descripción El capuchino cabeciblanco mide unos 11,5 cm de largo. ​ Como indica su nombre su cabeza es blanca y su cuerpo es de color pardo, entre las cuales hay una zona de color marrón claro en cuello y pecho a modo de transición.
