Southern Talapoin Monkey

Le Talapoin (Miopithecus talapoin) est un primate de la famille des cercopithécidés vivant en Afrique. C'est une des deux espèces du genre Miopithecus, avec le Talapoin du Nord. Dénominations Talapoin du Sud, Miopithèque talapoin, Cercopithèque mignon, ou encore Singe des palétuviers, bien que ce dernier nom s'applique aussi au Mone de Campbell (Cercopithecus campbelli).

Description The fur of the Angolan talapoin is coarsely banded yellow-and-black on the back and flanks and white or greyish white on the chest and belly.

El talapoin sureño (Miopithecus talapoin),​​ es una especie de primate catarrino de la familia Cercopithecidae. Se encuentra en la zona ripariana de Angola y la República Democrática del Congo. A diferencia del Talapoin norteño, el sureño tiene las orejas y la piel de alrededor de la nariz de color negro, y no color carne como su pariente.
