Noctua fimbriata, the broad-bordered yellow underwing, is a moth of the family Noctuidae. The species was first described in 1759 by Johann Christian Daniel von Schreber. Distribution Noctua fimbriata can be found throughout Europe, including the UK, and in parts of Asia, where it ranges east to the Caucasus, Turkmenistan, and Western Siberia (Novosibirsk Oblast).
Noctua fimbriata (nombre común “polilla de flecos”) es una mariposa nocturna perteneciente a la familia Noctuidae muy extendida en Europa y alrededores, se asemeja a Noctua tirrenica. Durante el siglo XIX afectó a la vinicultura. Descripción Imago La envergadura de las alas de los machos está entre 45 y 57 mm, la de las hembras entre 49 y 61 mm.
