Parahypopta caestrum

Parahypopta caestrum, le Cossus-touret, Cossus de l'asperge ou la Chenille à fourreau de l'asperge, est une espèce de lépidoptères (papillons) de la famille des Cossidae. Ce papillon se rencontre en Eurasie (sud de l'Europe, Moyen-Orient). Description La larve de cette espèce se nourrit sur Asparagus officinalis, Asparagus maritime, Asparagus tenuifolius, Asparagus albus, Asparagus acutifolius et Celtis australis.

Parahypopta caestrum is a species of moth of the family Cossidae. It is found on the Iberian Peninsula and in France, Italy, Austria, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, on the Balkan Peninsula, as well as in Jordan, Israel, Syria, Iraq, Turkey, south-western Russia and Kazakhstan. The wingspan is 28–40 mm.
