Paralithoxus jariensis

Lithoxus jariensis est une espèce de poissons-chats de la famille des Loricariidae. Paralithoxus is a genus of freshwater ray-finned fishes belonging to the family Loricariidae, the suckermouth armoured catfishes, and the subfamily Hypostominae, the suckermouth catfishes. These fishes are found in South America. Taxonomy Paralithoxus was first formally proposed as a subgenus of Lithoxus in 1982 by the Dutch ichthyologist Marinus Boeseman with Ancistrus bovallii designated as its type species.
