Yellowbar Angelfish

Le Poisson-ange à croissant (Pomacanthus maculosus) ou Poisson-ange géographe est une espèce de poissons de la famille des Pomacanthidae. On le voit en mer Rouge et sur les côtes d’Afrique de l’Est, du golfe Persique au Kenya. Description Le poisson-ange à croissant mesure jusqu'à 25 cm de long.

Pomacanthus maculosus, the yellowbar angelfish, half-moon angelfish, yellow-marked angelfish, yellowband angelfish or yellow-blotched angelfish, is a species of marine ray-finned fish, a marine angelfish belonging to the family Pomacanthidae. It is found in the western Indian Ocean and, more recently, in the eastern Mediterranean Sea. Description Pomacanthus maculosus has a deep and compressed body with a small mouth that is equipped with small bristle-like teeth.

El Pomacanthus maculosus es una especie de actinopterigio perciforme pomacántido. Su nombre más común en inglés es Yellowbar angelfish, o pez ángel de barra amarilla. ​ Es una especie generalmente común en su rango de distribución, y con poblaciones estables.
