Psodos quadrifaria

La Psodos équestre ou Ruban fauve (Psodos quadrifaria) est une espèce d'insectes lépidoptères (les papillons), de la famille des Geometridae. Description C'est un petit papillon brun chocolat aux bandes orange caractéristiques sur les deux paires d'ailes. Chenille Les chenilles sont brunes, elles vivent sur de nombreuses plantes basses mais mais se nourrit surtout sur les rhododendrons.

Psodos quadrifaria is a moth of the family Geometridae first described by Johann Heinrich Sulzer in 1776. It is found in the higher parts of the Alps, as well as the Pyrenees, the High Tatras and the Balkan Mountains. It also has a scattered distribution in the Giant Mountains.
