Rouleina attrita, the softskin smooth-head or softskin slickhead, is a species of fish in the family Alepocephalidae. Its specific name is from the Latin attrīta ("bruised, worn away"), presumably referring to the mutilated or decomposed state of the type specimens. Description Rouleina attrita is black, measuring up to 42 cm (17 in).
Rouleina attrita es un pez de la familia Alepocephalidae. Suele habitar las aguas profundas, entre 450 y 2300 metros de profundidad. Su distribución es circumglobal, ampliamente distribuido en el Atlántico, la mayoría de las crestas submarinas del océano Índico, Subantártico, Pacífico norte y Pacífico occidental y oriental tropical.
