Sebastes atrovirens est une espèce de poissons de la famille des Scorpaenidae.

Sebastes atrovirens, the kelp rockfish, is a species of marine ray-finned fish belonging to the subfamily Sebastinae, the rockfishes, part of the family Scorpaenidae. It is native to the Pacific Ocean along the coast of California in the United States and Baja California in Mexico. Taxonomy Sebastes atrvirens was first formally described as Sebastichthys atrovirens in 1880 by the American ichthyologists David Starr Jordan and Charles Henry Gilbert with the type locality given as Point Conception in San Diego, California.
