Sebastes rubrivinctus est une espèce de poissons de l'ordre des Scorpaeniformes.

Sebastes rubrivinctus, also known as the flag rockfish, Spanish flag, redbanded rockfish or barberpole, is a species of marine ray-finned fish belonging to the subfamily Sebastinae, the rockfishes, part of the family Scorpaenidae. It is found in the Eastern Pacific. Taxonomy Sebestes rubrivinctus was first formally described as Sebastichthys rubrivinctus in 1880 by the American ichthyologists David Starr Jordan and Charles Henry Gilbert with the type locality given as a reef in Santa Barbara Channel and Monterey, California.
