Dubious Tiger Moth

Spilosoma est un genre de lépidoptères (papillons) de la famille des Erebidae et de la sous-famille des Arctiinae. Son espèce type est Bombyx menthastri [Denis & Schiffermüller], 1775, un synonyme de Spilosoma lubricipeda (Linnaeus, 1758).

Spilosoma dubia, the dubious tiger moth, is a moth in the family Erebidae. It was described by Francis Walker in 1855. It is found from south-eastern Canada west to Alberta and in the eastern United States.
