Brown Tiger Moth

Spilosoma est un genre de lépidoptères (papillons) de la famille des Erebidae et de la sous-famille des Arctiinae. Spilosoma pteridis, the brown tiger moth, is a moth in the family Erebidae. It was described by Henry Edwards in 1875. It is found in the United States in western Oregon and Washington, British Columbia and northern Idaho.
