Southern Long-footed Treeshrew

Les Scandentiens (Scandentia) sont un ordre de petits mammifères placentaires au mode de vie arboricole. Ils possèdent une longue queue en général touffue. Ils présentent des caractères qui ont longtemps dérouté les zoologistes dont certains les rapprochent des insectivores et d'autres des primates.

The Kalimantan treeshrew (Tupaia salatana) or southern large-footed treeshrew is a treeshrew species within the Tupaiidae family. It was originally described as a subspecies of Tupaia longipes and later listed as a junior synonym of Tupaia glis, before being returned to its subspecies status. It was raised up to species status in 2013.
