Helix lucorum, known commonly as the Turkish Snail, is a species of large, edible, air-breathing land snail, a terrestrial pulmonate gastropod mollusk in the family Helicidae, the typical snails. Description Adult snails weigh about 20–25 g. The width of the shell is 35–60 mm.
