Le Jaguarondi ou Jaguarundi (Herpailurus yagouaroundi) est une espèce de mammifère carnivore de la famille des félins. Ce Féliné, proche parent du puma, vit dans les parties centrales et méridionales du continent américain. Il se caractérise par une petite taille, mais un corps très allongé, qui lui a valu le nom de « Chat-loutre ».
The jaguarundi (Herpailurus yagouaroundi); or is a wild cat native to the Americas. Its range extends from central Argentina in the south and much of South America east of the Andes, through Central America, and into northern Mexico. It occurred in the Lower Rio Grande Valley in south Texas as recently as the early 1990s but is now believed to be extirpated from the US.
El yaguarundí, jaguarundi o gato moro (Herpailurus yagouaroundi), referido por la CONABIO como jaju, onza, leoncillo o león breñero, es una especie de mamífero carnívoro de la familia Felidae. El macho mide entre 62 y 83 cm y la hembra entre 43 y 66 cm. Su peso corporal va de 3,5 a 6,5 kg.
