Lichia amia est une espèce de poissons de mer de la famille des Carangidae appelée Liche amie. C'est la seule espèce de son genre Lichia. Ce sont des poissons de grande taille (environ 1 m) présents sur les côtes françaises.
The leerfish or garrick (Lichia amia) is a species of marine fish in the family Trachinotidae. It is the only extant member of the genus Lichia. It is native to much of the eastern Atlantic Ocean, from the Mediterranean and western Black Sea, north to France, and south along the coastal waters of western Africa, reaching as far south as eastern South Africa.
Los Carangidae (carángidos) es una familia de peces marinos incluida en el orden Perciformes. La mayoría son especies tropicales o subtropicales. El cuerpo es medianamente alargado y algo comprimido, con dos aletas dorsales y el pedúnculo caudal delgado.
