Rio Grande Leopard Frog

Lithobates berlandieri est une espèce d'amphibiens de la famille des Ranidae. Répartition Cette espèce se rencontre jusqu'à 2 595 m d'altitude : aux États-Unis, dans le sud du Nouveau-Mexique et dans le centre et l'Ouest du Texas. au Mexique au Chihuahua, au Durango, au Zacatecas, au Coahuila, au Nuevo León, au Tamaulipas, au San Luis Potosí et au Veracruz.

The Rio Grande leopard frog (Lithobates berlandieri or Rana berlandieri) is a species of aquatic frog native to the southern United States in Texas and New Mexico, and south through Mexico and Central America. It is also sometimes referred to as the Mexican leopard frog. The epithet berlandieri is in honor of the naturalist Jean Louis Berlandier, who worked for the Mexican government on one of the first biological surveys of Texas.

La rana leopardo (Lithobates berlandieri), también conocida como rana leopardo del río Bravo,​ es una especie de anfibio anuro (ranas y sapos) de la familia Ranidae (ranas manchadas),​ de costumbres acuáticas distribuida por el sur de Estados Unidos (Texas y Nuevo México), México, Guatemala, Belice, Honduras, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, y posiblemente El Salvador. ​ Es una rana grande, el promedio de los adultos va de 64 - 80 mm de longitud hocico cloaca. Generalmente delgada y de cabeza puntiaguda y pequeña.
