Sailfish

Le voilier de l'Atlantique (Istiophorus albicans) est une espèce de poissons de la famille des marlins. Description Ces poissons se distinguent par une première nageoire dorsale très développée en forme de voile et par une mâchoire supérieure prolongée comme chez les espadons. Le poisson, très rapide, peut atteindre 3,15 mètres de long.

The sailfish is one or two species of marine fish in the genus Istiophorus, which belong to the family Istiophoridae (marlins). They are predominantly blue to gray in color and have a characteristically large dorsal fin known as the sail, which often stretches the entire length of the back. Another notable characteristic is the elongated rostrum (bill) consistent with that of other marlins and the swordfish, which together constitute what are known as billfish in sport fishing circles.

El pez vela del Atlántico (Istiophorus albicans) es una especie de pez vela de la familia Istiophoridae del orden de los Perciformes. Habita en el Océano Atlántico y el Mar Caribe entre la superficie y una profundidad de 200 metros. El pez vela del Atlántico es conocido como marlín.
